The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Qualifications Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical field
- 8+ years of experience working in data science and systems engineering in a professional services consulting environment or supporting a US Military Program Office
- Knowledge of US Military Configuration Management processes and PEO C4I databases including SPIDER, CM Pro and others government systems
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
- Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques, such as linear regression, decision trees, clustering, and neural networks
- Active Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or a related field
- Familiarity with SQL and database systems
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Active TS/SCI US Government Clearance
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,000 to $198,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
