PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Systems Integration Architect maintains and enhances existing applications workflows, automation, and customizations of our ERP and internal Infrastructure systems. The position resolves user requests for enhancements and troubleshoots problems with all systems and automated workflow enhancements.
Major Ares of Responsibility:
Design and Coordinate All data integration uses, reporting, and security 80%
- Create policies and procedures to ensure system updates and security IAW industry best practice
- Plans outage and maintenance windows
- Writes code and queries to automate existing or requested workflows
- Manage Data Services Team
- Maintain data integrity IAW best practices and school Business Continuity Plan
Research analyze and develop new solutions and applications to improve workflows, automate, report, and optimize data systems 10%
- Conduct initial scoping and assist in drafting proposals for new projects or features using ITIL standard project management methodologies
- Create plan
- Prototype solution in Lab
- Create a Communication plan and execute a communication plan with affected stakeholders
- Implement solution
Train personnel in the use of software as applies to the position 10%
- Assess personnel as to the level of training required
- Provide the training.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Excellent understanding of NIST framework and Standards
- Excellent understanding of Cisco hardware and configuration skills
- Excellent knowledge of wireless technology and radius authentication
- Excellent knowledge of infrastructure security including firewalls, antivirus and other schemes to ensure security and a safe computing environment school-wide
