And right now, we’re looking for an I&T Business Partner. Based at our Capenhurst / Stoke Poges location, you will face off to specific areas of the Urenco Group core business processes. The role will be to understand the specific operational & development needs of the business, bringing in the wider I&T team to assist in problem solving and future strategy, which can benefit from the use of technology based services and processes.
What will your day look like?
- Identify, analyse, manage and monitor relationships with and between I&T and its key business stakeholders.
- Visualise and articulate complex concepts, applying logical thinking to drive the wider I&T team to ensure that the business solution aligns with the vision, mission, objectives, strategy and user needs.
- Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve people, process and technology issues working with the wider I&T, InfoSec & Business teams, ensuring that “solutions” continue to meet business requirements.
- Understand users and identify who they are and what their needs are, based on evidence. Translate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet these needs. Engage in meaningful interactions and relationships with users, demonstrating putting users first and can manage competing priorities.
What do you need to be great at this role?
- Security clearance to SC level will be required.
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent relevant experience.
- Relevant Professional IT qualifications (e.g. BRMP, BiSL).
- 3-5 years IT Business Relationship Management / Customer Success Management.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Highly aware of User Experience drivers within business and user settings.
- Excellent solution / technology technical understanding & strategic thinking.
- Business Analysis and Service Management experience.
- Continual Service Improvement.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and visualising data.
- Creation of business value use cases and capital expenditure plans.
- Experience in one of the following industry sectors would be ideal: Manufacturing, Chemical Manufacturing, Logistics, Shared Services (e.g. HR, Finance).
- Acting Decisively Level 3/4.
- Customer Orientation Level 3/4.
- Thirst For knowledge Level 3/4.
- Focus on Performance Level 3/4.
