What does the Director of Sales Convenience Retail do at Swire Coca-Cola?
As the Director of Sales Convenience, you are responsible for guiding your team to develop leads and improve all aspects of their customer business relationships. Directors are responsible for the annual plan which includes achieving Swire's key pillars of profit, volume, and revenue for their designated geography. Additional responsibilities include providing strategic direction for the Convenience Retail Channel, developing the annual CMA Agreements, collaborating with mainstream bottlers, and cross-franchise brand partners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide short-term and long-term strategic direction to drive profit, volume, market share, display space, and execution scorecard for team and overall Convenience Retail Channel.
- Develop the team through coaching, mentoring, leadership, and cross-functional training preparing for success and advancement within the organization.
- Create profitable, competitive pricing strategies and annual Customer Marketing Agreements to drive success in the Swire Marketplace and west region.
- Lead “Top-to-Top” stewardship reviews while cultivating relationships with customer’s senior leadership team.
- Collaborate with Commercialization to develop incentives, custom programs, and point-of-sale tied to key pillar programs and regional/local assets.
- Responsible for the overall channel budget, forecast, and accuracy in CP3 rolling up to meet the annual business plan.
- Review and approve Key Account Manager promotions for profitability and conduct post-analysis measuring the success level.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 10+ years customer management experience in the CPG environment required.
- 10+ years proven sales experience/customer management required.
- 10+ years beverage or CPG selling experience required.
- 2+ years sales operations experience preferred.
Base pay range is $108,527 to $142,442 plus bonus structure (dependent on role). Pay offered will depend on candidate’s geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
