Oracle is looking for a Senior Director in the Product Development organization for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI services and Data Science platform. Our customers run their business on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with the best-in-class compute, storage, networking, database, security, and AI services in the cloud. This is a critical leadership role and you will be responsible for the strategic direction and roadmap. You will partner with other teams to drive new initiatives and deliver new services, features, and capabilities. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Generative AI, classical AI, machine learning operations, cloud architecture and experience leading large organizations.
Qualifications
- 15 years of demonstrable experience in product management, with a significant portion focused on cloud services or related technologies.
- 5+ years experience of building GEN AI/LLM based products.
- Consistent track record of leading and delivering complex, high-stakes product initiatives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, services, and multicloud strategies.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing impactful teams.
- Customer-obsessed mentality with a strong focus on delivering value to customers.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Excellent partner leadership skills with experience in building and cultivating strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional communication and the ability to articulate sophisticated concepts to a variety of audiences.
- MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct, lead and mentor a team of product managers who will drive the roadmap and craft the product requirements for a portfolio of groundbreaking and industry-leading products for Cloud Compute.
- Stay ahead of new technologies, industry standard processes, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization.
- Act as a leader with vision and spokesperson for Oracle's AI services, representing the company at industry conferences, events, and customer engagements.
- This role will require leadership across multiple organizations within the AI services group, key engineering, and science teams, as well as account teams, solution architects, partner organizations, product and corporate marketing.
- Develop an effective product strategy, and an effective commercial strategy monetizing GPUs and Generative AI service and Data Science platform software revenue.
- Collaborate with critical team members, including customers, industry authorities, and internal teams, to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, shaping the product roadmap and strategy accordingly.
- Work with executive leadership to develop a robust GTM Strategy.
- Be an inspiring leader for defining the strategy and program for cloud compute.
- Establish relationships with clients and drive executive engagements.
- Align Oracle’s AI service features design priorities to our customer’s strategies and needs.
- Create and deliver effective client presentations and proposals that address the specific needs of a client.
- Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Defining new critical metrics to drive decision making and prioritization.
- Providing regular updates and interacting with executive management to influence the portfolio.
- Sets Goals and Expectations for performance and works with employees to establish specific, measurable goals and commitments.

US: Hiring Range: from $160,000 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
