Overview:
As a Mainframe AS/400 Developer, you will be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of applications on the AS/400 platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design and implement solutions, and ensure the seamless integration of Mainframe AS/400 applications with other systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on critical business applications and play a crucial role in the ongoing success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications on the AS/400 platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Design and implement solutions for Mainframe AS/400 applications.
- Ensure integration of AS/400 applications with other systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-8+ years of experience in Mainframe AS400 technologies.
- Proven experience as a Mainframe AS/400 Developer or similar role.
- Proficient in Mainframe AS/400 development languages, including RPG, CL, and COBOL.
- Experience with DB2 databases on the AS/400 platform.
- Knowledge of AS/400 architecture and data models.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
