Responsibilities
Pediatrix has an amazing career opportunity for an experienced neonatologist-medical director to lead our brand-new practice at Piedmont Cartersville Regional Medical Center in Cartersville, GA. Piedmont Cartersville Regional Medical Center is a 119-bed Hospital, Level lll Trauma Center located just 45 minutes North of downtown Atlanta. Named Healthgrades Top 250 Best Hospitals in the country list, 2022 and 2023.
Leadership Responsibilities Include
Overseeing the practice and collaborating with hospital administration and our regional management team. Fostering growth and mentorship to fellow team members; taking on leadership roles within the hospital and community.
- Providing care for Level ll NICU babies
- Delivery attendance (high risk and c-sections)
- Coverage for unattended well babies in the 12-bed newborn nursery
- Rounding in-house during the day with Call responsibilities from home at night

Cartersville is a suburb of Atlanta, located only 45 minutes north along the Etowah River. The town has the charm of a small city, but with easy access to both Atlanta and Chattanooga.
