As a Pier Diem School Psychiatrist, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to promote the emotional well-being and academic success of students.
- Per diem to help as needed
- Must have all clearances updated within the year and be able to start as soon as possible

Job Description:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of students referred for mental health concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students experiencing acute mental health crises.
- Offer consultation and guidance to teachers, administrators, and other school personnel on mental health-related issues.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Educate students, families, and staff about mental health topics and resources.
- Stay informed about current research, best practices, and trends in child and adolescent psychiatry.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in psychiatry from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in child and adolescent psychiatry preferred.
- Valid PA medical license to practice psychiatry.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or educational setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Must be able to complete documentation to school district standards
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
