The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Dermatology, is seeking a BC/BE Dermatologist to join its dynamic team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities. This is a busy clinical practice with a wide range of pathologies seen in the outpatient and inpatient settings. About the position:
- Provide patient care in ambulatory clinic. Model best practices for diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and conditions.
- Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and classroom settings. Coach and guide learners appropriate to their educational level, and evaluate learner's progress.
- Contribute to various scholarly and research activities of the Division of Dermatology. Research could include clinical trials or investigator initiated studies.
- Participate in Division, Department, and School faculty activities as allowed by schedule constraints.
- For those interested, there are opportunities for professional development in Immunodermatology, Complex Medical Dermatology and Inpatient Dermatology, DermatoOncology, and Transplant Dermatology; a Clinician-Investigator Track is also available.
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical experience in Dermatology
