Job Description: Earn up to $400,000 per year at Mountain View PM&R. Mountain View is seeking dedicated and passionate Physiatrists to join our dynamic team. As a Mountain View PM&R Physiatrist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will work collaboratively with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Mountain View PM&R specializes in acute and subacute rehabilitation units and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse rehabilitation needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations, to determine appropriate rehabilitation goals and interventions.
- Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize functional outcomes and promote independence.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge summaries in electronic medical records systems.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding the rehabilitation process,
- expected outcomes, and post-discharge care.
Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of ACGME-accredited residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
Board certification or eligibility in PM&R.
Valid medical license in the state of practice.
Strong clinical skills in the evaluation and management of patients with acute and subacute rehabilitation needs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to professional growth and development.
