Opportunity Information:
Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking to hire a full-time Neurohospitalist to join an established group of neurologists providing inpatient neurology services in 2 San Francisco East Bay Medical Centers. The SEBMG Neurology Department provides 24/7 coverage for ER and hospital inpatients, including coverage for a comprehensive stroke center. Hospital coverage will be shared with one full-time Neurohospitalist and other members of the Neurology Department who also participate in daily rounds and night call. The hospital offers a highly collaborative environment with Internal Medicine Hospitalists and a full complement of medical and surgical sub-specialists.
SEBMG is a rapidly growing multi-specialty medical group whose physicians and advanced practice clinicians work in 10 care centers and 4 hospitals in the San Francisco East Bay. SEBMG is affiliated with Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, a not-for-profit health care organization providing operational and administrative support to the medical group.
Position details:
- Shift-based work with both daytime and nighttime shifts
- Responsible for all new consults and follow-ups during the shift
- Minimum 16 shifts per month, though some variability from month to month. Increased number of shifts available if desired.

- Comprehensive stroke center at one of the two hospitals
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/eligible
- Possess an active and unrestricted California Medical License
- Current DEA license
