The North American Stores Deals Marketing team delights customers by driving discoverability of relevant deals and discounts year-round. We are looking for a highly creative, organized, and analytical Sr. Product Marketing Manager to own strategic deals experimentation initiatives in partnership with our tech team. This role will focus on integrating deal content into automated placements onsite and identifying new opportunities to scale deal merchandising, making it easier than ever for customers to discover unbeatable savings year-round.
This role will have a high degree of leadership visibility. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working in a highly ambiguous environment, has strong verbal and written communication, is curious to figure things out and build capabilities, and uses data and customer focused judgement to back up recommendations.
Key job responsibilities
- Spearhead new deals marketing initiatives with stakeholder teams, developing PRFAQs and BRDs to generate buy-in and inform tech requirements.
- Develop an experimentation roadmap to drive deals discoverability across the site.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to build and execute new deals experiences for customers.
- Analyze experiment performance and provide regular reporting on learnings. Identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and present findings to stakeholders at various levels.
- Lead PRFAQs, OP1, and OP2 documents to help drive the long-term deals marketing strategy.
A day in the life
In this role, you will interact with Marketing, Creative, Product, Tech, and UX on a regular basis to bring new deals experiences to life for customers. This will include both long-term strategic planning and hands-on execution of marketing experiments.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
- Experience creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans.
- Experience with A/B Testing or Multi-Variate Testing or both.
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis.
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
