The positions are available at all ranks in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) series or the Clinical "X" series. The level of appointment will be commensurate with credentials. Faculty in the Clinical X series are expected to engage in professional competence and activity, teaching, research and creative work, and University/public service. Faculty in the HSCP series are expected to demonstrate professional competence and activity and engage in teaching, scholarly or creative work, and University and public service.

Protected research time is available for candidates with strong research interests dependent on their qualifications and accomplishments. While research is not required for the HSCP series, participation with the ADRC clinical research program is strongly encouraged.
