We’re saving lives, building careers, and reimagining healthcare. We can’t wait to grow alongside you.
Sturdy Health is searching for a non-invasive cardiologist to join our well-established and successful team and to drive programmatic growth of our Cardiology program.
With a strong and growing primary care regional base and patient-friendly facilities, Sturdy Health’s team envisions substantial potential growth in cardiovascular services. The successful candidate will work closely with the current Cardiology team and administration to provide outstanding patient care in the office and in-patient environments, and to work with the team to drive programmatic growth.
The cardiology services we currently provide in the hospital include nuclear, exercise, and pharmacological stress testing, transesophageal echo, carotid ultrasound studies, ECGs and inpatient consultations. Office-based patient services include patient visits, exercise and stress echo testing, and standard transthoracic echo imaging studies. The candidate could participate in ICU-based placement of PA catheters if appropriately trained and of interest.
Our cardiologists have close relationships with our community-based primary care physicians, other specialists, and hospital staff - all with the main goal of providing personalized, comprehensive cardiac care in the hospital and office-based setting.
Sturdy Health’s administration is fully supportive of the growth of a superb Cardiology program to serve the region, including growth of subspecialized services such as Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, and Cardio-Oncology. We are also investing in a new ambulatory outpatient facility on the hospital campus opening in early 2025.
The position will be supported in a partnership with the CardioVascular Center at Tufts Medical Center. The clinician will have the opportunity to participate in activities of the Tufts Cardiology program, including potentially dedicated time spent in the Echocardiography and/or with other services at Tufts.
