The Role
As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product life cycle from conception to launch. Working closely with our engineering and growth teams, as well as the CEO and CTO, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing our product launches and integrations to achieve success in the market.
Your role will be crucial in defining and executing our roadmap, ensuring alignment across engineering and growth/marketing teams, and ensuring our products meet market needs and exceed user expectations. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the web3 ecosystem and the unique dynamics of this rapidly evolving market.
Roles & Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
- Work with the CEO to set a clear and inspiring vision for our products, outlining their purpose, target market, and unique value proposition.
- Develop, own, and refine the product strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company’s vision and customer needs.
- Manage the product lifecycle, including market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
User Research & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor the competitive landscape, identifying competitor offerings, strengths, and weaknesses. Help inform product differentiation strategies and ensure the product remains competitive in the market.
- Gather deep insights into user needs, pain points, and preferences through user research methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Leverage these insights to inform product decisions, ensuring that user-centric features are developed.
- Analyze industry trends and customer feedback to enhance existing products and prioritize new features.
Product Requirements & Roadmap
- Based on market research and user insights, create detailed product requirements that outline the functionality, user experience, and technical specifications. These requirements serve as a roadmap for the development team, guiding the creation of a high-quality product.
- Create and own a strategic roadmap that outlines the product’s future development, including feature releases, enhancements, and major milestones. Prioritize the roadmap based on market opportunities, customer needs, and business goals, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Aside from our core products, identify and lead the development/integration of additional components required to succeed in the market. This includes in-house efforts (e.g., key applications, tooling) and external integrations (e.g., wallets, bridging).
Internal Coordination
- Collaborate closely with growth and marketing teams to ensure they have the necessary product knowledge to effectively sell the product and the right messaging and materials to promote it.
- Maintain close coordination with execs, especially the CEO, to ensure alignment on product vision and execution. Regularly present product updates and strategic plans to the executive team.
- Work closely with the CTO and engineering Team Leads to ensure product vision is translated into the development roadmap and that key milestones are being met.
Product Launches
- Coordinate and oversee product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and impactful launches.
- Develop launch strategies, coordinate with marketing on campaigns, and monitor customer feedback to refine the product post-launch.
Monitor Key Metrics
- Establish and track key product metrics, such as user adoption, retention, and sentiment. Analyze these metrics to assess the product’s performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to improve business outcomes.
- Continuously monitor the market to identify opportunities for product innovation, drive experimentation, and champion continuous improvement to stay ahead of market demands and drive business growth.
Product Team Management
- As/when needed, hire and manage a product team. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure efficient collaboration, effective decision-making, and timely delivery of high-quality products.
Skills & Experience
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in product-related roles at tech companies/startups.
- Proven experience in product management; demonstrated ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to the entire organization.
- Previous experience at web3 companies (preferably infra).
Skills & Knowledge
- Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This includes setting and communicating timelines, assessing resource allocation, and suggesting edits to the budget if needed and setting and aligning expectations from different stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions.
Web3
- Genuine passion for blockchain & web3 technologies.
- Wide network of connections and professional relationships in the blockchain industry.
- Sufficient technical understanding to effectively communicate our value proposition and products, including to semi-technical audiences.
- Sufficient industry knowledge to understand where our product fits in and identify potential opportunities, risks, etc.

- Highly autonomous and intrinsically motivated. You’re prepared to take responsibility and make decisions. You tell us (not ask us) what we need when it comes to product.
- While you will have close support from the CEO, you will be the owner and driver of all product-related matters.
