As the Global Director of Sustainability Impact Reporting, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement sustainability impact reporting that will enable and support the delivery of Griffith Foods’ Purpose to Blend Care and Creativity to Nourish the World. You will lead the global design, development, analysis and reporting of sustainability environmental and social data and impact metrics for our Foundational Goals across four areas: Wellbeing & Fulfillment, Climate Action, Sustainable Sourcing and Health and Nutrition. This role collaborates across regions and functions to gather and track sustainability data and will be a key driver and enabler for the establishment of an integrated financial, operational and sustainability data analytics and reporting team for our 2030 Aspirations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Impact Reporting and Analysis
Develop and lead internal and external sustainability reporting, including tracking and quantitative analysis of key environmental and social metrics working across global teams and functions to compile, analyze, and publish annual and interim reports. Includes developing dashboards, leveraging technological solutions and implementing efficient tools and processes to coordinate data collection, tracking of/validation of key performance indicators (leading/lagging) and verification within agreed timelines. Responsible for Griffith Foods annual sustainability report, Ecovadis submission, WBCSD and UN Global Compact reporting and support our reporting to CDP, SBTi and local business unit Ecovadis submission. Prepare management, Board and Sustainability Advisory Council presentations on progress against sustainability impact metrics. Work with sales to support responding to customer sustainability data and information requests.
- Integrated Reporting
Support the VP Global Sustainability and SVP Global Finance in the establishment of an integrated financial, operational and sustainability data analytics and reporting team that will bridge our Foundational Goals with our 2030 Aspirations centered around three areas: 1) Partnering to create Sustainable Food System Networks, 2) Developing a Nutritious and Sustainable Portfolio, and 3) Creating New Markets and Serving the Underserved. Includes supporting the development of the strategic business case, resources needed, technology review and recommendation.
- Governance
Work with global and regional teams to enhance sustainability governance and data verification including supporting oversight for environmental and social risks and opportunities for the Board and Sustainability Advisory Council. Support VP Global Sustainability, finance and regional charity committees in the tracking and reporting of corporate giving and volunteering. Monitor and stay current on environmental, social and governance standards and reporting requirements (SASB, TCFD, WBCSD, UN Global Compact, EU and other national regulations for mandatory or voluntary sustainability reporting).
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years in environmental, social and other sustainability data analytics, measurement, and impact reporting including working knowledge of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), CDP, SBTi and UN Global Compact.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in quantitative discipline (statistics, data science, accounting, or relevant STEM discipline).
- Demonstrated experience in proficient project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, managing internal and external staff toward the successful completion of sustainability, ESG and external reporting.
