SQL Developer - Outdefine Partner

Compensation: $40 - $50 /hr
About the Job
Overview:
- Design, implement and manage SQL queries for multiple stakeholders.
- Detect and resolve data quality and integrity issues.
- Enhance or create new logical and physical data models to meet business needs.
- Apply data modeling techniques to ensure performance expectations are met.
- Test and debug deliverable code.
- Develop data mapping from existing systems to new data structures.
- Experience in data migration using industry-standard tools.
- Experience in SQL tuning and optimization.
- Partitioning and indexing strategies for optimal performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in understanding complex source system data structures, preferably in Financial Services.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance in a time-critical environment.
- Work with business stakeholders and Agile scrum teams on design and implementation of features.
Skills for Success:
- 8+ years of experience in different database technologies.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with query plans, query tuning, and schema refinement.
- Experience with database migrations and building database scripts.
- Experience with change and release management teams.
- Experience with CI/CD and Liquibase is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake) is a plus.
