Department of Medicine: IBD Gastroenterologist
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks to employ an open rank IBD Gastroenterologist.
This position offers the opportunity for the potential faculty member to train and mentor medical students while providing a full range of IBD gastroenterological services and treatments at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick. The faculty member will work directly with patients to best understand their needs in order to test, diagnose and treat patients as required, as well as work with patients’ primary physicians and other relevant physicians to arrive at a workable medical strategy for the gastroenterological concerns. Some duties may include:
- General gastroenterology
- Management of Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and indeterminate colitis
- Develop IBD-focused clinical research studies
- Other gastroenterology procedures

Position Status: Full Time
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience: MD/DO or equivalent
Certifications/Licenses: Board eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology; Possess, or eligible for, NJ License
