What You’ll Be Doing
This Senior Product Manager I role sits within our Commerce, Growth and Identity (CGI) organization–three critical areas at Disney that will help transform our business. As a Product Manager on the Identity team, you will define and drive Identity Product initiatives, focused on a unified customer experience across our broad range of digital properties. It is highly cross-functional and requires strong analytical drive, product intuition, and relentless customer focus.
Responsibilities
- Define the product experience for how Profiles will work across our streaming products and which elements of a profile should be elevated and unified across TWDC.
- Drive prioritization based on business outcomes, getting buy-in from senior management (from Directors to SVPs) and aligning with other product domains toward shared objectives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and tie back to business impact.
- Author detailed product briefs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Partner with analytics to design experiments that measure the efficacy of an initiative and test your hypotheses.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Business Strategy, Customer Service, Marketing, Technical Program Management, Legal, and others to develop, test, and deliver high quality products.
- Conduct regular product review sessions to align with stakeholders.
- Review product performance against key metrics while constantly iterating to make feature improvements.
- Champion a collaborative work environment that cultivates shared understanding, transparency, autonomy, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication that brings clarity and instills confidence.
- Relentless resourcefulness in finding a path around obstacles you may face - leveraging your skills, your network, your team, and your manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 5 years of relevant product management experience.
- Experience with the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and product discovery to launch and product optimizations post-launch.
- Ease in presenting to senior leadership and senior level audiences.
- Effective collaboration with engineering, design, and product stakeholders.
- Adept at driving clarity through all levels of the organization for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid knowledge of user-centric design and data-informed decision making.
- Strong bias for action, tenacity, and “get it done” attitude.
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $136,100 - $182,400 per year, in NYC and Seattle is $142,600 - $191,100 per year and in San Francisco is $149,000 - $199,800 based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
