Join Our Team: Infectious Disease APC Needed in Toledo!Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Infectious Disease team in Toledo. This position involves comprehensive patient management across multiple hospital settings and outpatient clinics, primarily at St. Charles Hospital. The role requires hospital rounding, consultation services, and collaborative care with a high-volume patient load.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative services for new patient referrals
- Follow-up on laboratory results, imaging studies, and medication management
- Office Hours are Monday- Friday
- Collaborate closely with physicians, residents, and other healthcare providers
- Participate in a rotating call schedule (1:3) with responsibilities for post-operative patient management and consult availability
Qualifications:
- Current CNP or PA license in the State of Ohio
- DEA registration with full prescribing authority
- Experience in Infectious Disease or related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
