Director, U.S. Payer Development (remote or hybrid)
The Director, US Payer Development will be responsible for spearheading the establishment and advancement of a Payer-focused channel within the U.S. market and exploring diverse commercial models. This position will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for exploring, building, and driving new Payer solutions within the U.S. market.
- Explore various commercial models and viability with key payer types within the U.S. market. Works in partnership with Market Access to deliver.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the US healthcare payer landscape.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key payers and managed care organizations in the U.S.
- Lead contract negotiations with payers. Work with Legal, Finance, Market Access teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Develop and lead pilots to develop and prove out payer offers and programs.
- Bring together cross-functional groups to execute various stages of the Payer Development strategy.
- Work in close partnership with the Sales organization to drive value for customers.
