Your Mission:
As theHead of Site MSAT, you will have overall accountability for the development of robust processes and driving continuous improvement across the lifecycle of critical products. You will interface with sites globally to share knowledge and foster growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Leadership:Shape the site’s strategic direction and create a strong leadership presence for over 600 team members.
Technology Transfer:Direct the seamless transfer of drug substance biopharmaceutical production processes and technologies.
Lifecycle Management:Drive process and yield improvements, manage robust process knowledge, and ensure regulatory accuracy.
Innovation Champion:Lead business cases for manufacturing technology implementation and other strategic projects.
Technical Leadership:Ensure rapid resolution of technical issues through robust investigations and root cause analysis.
Strategic Workforce Planning:Build MSAT succession plans and continuously develop the capabilities within the MSAT organization.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor of science in a scientific discipline.
At least 7 years’ experience in technology/biopharmaceutical process development.
At least 4 years prior experience leading groups involved in technology development and process transfer in a biopharmaceutical/ biotechnology manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Strong working knowledge of GMP.
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
Master’s or PhD in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
In-depth experience with biopharmaceutical technologies, including large-scale cell culture and bioseparation technologies.
Familiarity with biopharmaceutical product registration with FDA and/or EMEA.
Expertise in ICH Guidelines and FDA/EU validation practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and quality.
