Job Overview:
The Director of the RUCARES Peds Feeding Program assumes oversight of the clinical excellence and functional operations of the intensive feeding program at Children s Specialized Hospital while establishing the operational flow of the comprehensive continuum of care, for all patients requiring intensive feeding services.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Doctorate in psychology or behavior analysis
- Experience in interdisciplinary team programming
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Innovative, flexible
- Ability to develop and deliver high quality oral and written presentations
- Research planning, implementation, publication, grant success
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- American Heart Association BLS required,
Scheduling Requirements:
- Shift working, 9:00 5:00 each day
- Days to work

Essential Functions:
- Supervise BCBAs and staff in the coordination and direction of intake and treatments in the intensive program
- Meet and collaborate with parents, school personnel, physicians, and other key stakeholders
- Develops and guides research on the assessment and treatment of patients with feeding disorders
- Publish research articles in peer-reviewed journals
- Procure grand and contract funding for research
- Oversee the development of presentations for local, national and international conferences
- Establish and/or enhance current process flows for intensive feeding programming at CSH, aligning with all service lines providing feeding
- Work closely with outpatient leadership team in operational needs for programming and development
- Aligns with marketing and referral development teams to build community awareness and referrals
- Leads and collaborates with therapy supervisors and clinical leads in establishment of clinical training, competencies, and methodology
- Develop and establish clear and evidence-based outcome tracking and trending
- Direct staffing, growth, clinical treatment, research and budgets of intensive feeding program
- Lead, support and communicate with staff to establish sense of ownership for the success of the program
- Oversees performance reviews, staffing, and recruitment
- Directs intensive feeding program in budgets and spending
- Develops, reviews, and implements policies and procedures in alignment with accrediting bodies
- Establishes and reports out on clear progress metrics and performance indicators for the team
- Other duties as assigned
