As a Lead Strategic Cloud Solutions Architect on our team, you will demonstrate visionary prowess in cloud technology and strategic implementation. This pivotal role involves designing, articulating, and executing sophisticated cloud solutions, with a special emphasis on government and federal health sectors. You will combine technical expertise with strategic acumen, outstanding communication skills, and a knack for client engagement. You'll architect and deploy strategic cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation, particularly for government and federal health clients. You'll lead and inspire cross-functional teams in cloud and digital transformation initiatives, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a self-starter attitude to proactively address challenges and drive projects to completion. You'll directly engage with clients, providing expert consultations, and presenting tailored, secure cloud solutions to meet their specific needs. You'll also develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and communications to effectively showcase the value of our cloud solutions, with a special focus on contributing to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). You'll also facilitate workshops and training sessions on cloud technologies and security best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team and among clients.

You Have:
8+ years of experience in technology solutions development, including operations, engineering, networking, infrastructure, or database architecture
5+ years of experience with architecture and engineering in major cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and with Kubernetes and Terraform
Experience contributing to federal Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) and successfully engaging with senior federal clients within the health sector and federal agencies, such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Knowledge of programming languages, including Python, Java, C, C++, Go, and Rust
Knowledge of containers, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI, and security measures integral to these processes
Knowledge of TERRA Open Source Platform
Ability to work independently as a self-starter, taking initiative in identifying and tackling challenges proactively
Ability to design secure, robust, scalable, and modular, API-centric architectures that adhere to federal security standards
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity
Nice If You Have:
10+ years of experience in technology solutions
7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, including leading cloud solution projects for federal health clients
Experience with serverless architectures, cloud security tools, and comprehensive involvement in health research, biomedical, and life science cloud -based projects, particularly those associated with the NIH
Experience with TERRA Open Source Platform, Oracle Cloud, Azure FastConnect
Knowledge of advanced strategies in secure cloud solution strategies and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in the cloud
Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to lead and unify teams in high-stakes, security-sensitive environments, demonstrating exceptional leadership and initiative
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity
Cloud Architect Certifications in one or more CSP, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
