Cohen Children’s Medical Center, The Department of Pediatrics of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell seek a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. In addition to supporting the patient care, research, and education missions of CCMC, a goal of this position would be to serve as the clinical lead in our Western Region which includes Brooklyn and Manhattan. The ideal applicant for this position would have at least 5 years of experience and has interest in leading program development.
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology includes 13 full time faculty members including two pediatric hepatologists as well as an ACGME approved Fellowship program. The Division has a been a long-time center of excellence in Pediatric IBD which includes a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, advance practice nurses, dieticians and social worker. Expertise in intestinal rehabilitation, nutrition disorders, a comprehensive aerodigestive program and advanced biliary endoscopy are among other well developed programs fully supported by a multi-specialty, cohesive team approach. There is a long-standing clinical research program that now includes three research coordinators.
