Therapist Job Responsibilities:
- Builds a positive and trusting relationship with patients.
- Assesses and treats individuals with mental health disorders.
- Develops customized treatment plans based on the specific needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Regularly meets with patients to provide counseling, develop treatment plans, and make client referrals as necessary.
- Continuously evaluates and monitors patient progress.
- Collaborates and advises family members when appropriate.
- Refers patients to external specialists or agencies if required.
- Maintains comprehensive records of patient meetings and progress.
- Adheres to all safety protocols and ensures client confidentiality.
- Contributes to the practice by completing related tasks as needed.
Therapist Qualifications/Skills:
- Competent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication and listening skills
- Aptitude for establishing rapport swiftly
- Attentive to details
- Proficient in communicating with compassion and empathy
- Effective time management and task prioritization abilities
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Applicants must have a master's or doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Must hold current state licensing in LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Clinical Psychologist, PMHNP, MD, or DO
- Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $50,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year (depending on licensure)
