Your Role
As a VP Client Service, you will have a unique opportunity to oversee, manage, and develop a set of core accounts within leading global pharmaceutical and biotech companies. You will serve as a true leader of our client relationships, to shape the client work, and to manage and develop a practice with our talented and internationally minded people. You will be integral to the future of Genioo.
You will partner with life sciences leaders and their teams to realize critical strategic priorities and support them in mobilizing and transforming their organizations. You will play a key role in client and business development, bring our innovative offerings to market, and deliver outstanding projects. You will work closely with senior leaders of client-facing teams and other functions, and experience the collaborative leadership style of Genioo.
What You’ll Do
- Take responsibility for developing a book of business of roughly $7-10 M.
- Own performance targets for assigned accounts and work with internal teams to achieve revenue growth and profitability targets.
- Lead the client development and engagement process for large scale transformation programs to C-level and senior client executives.
- Develop account plans based on the client needs involving senior leadership and implement and monitor them with rigor.
- Implement strategies for a number of major accounts to deliver meaningful impact for the client and sustainable growth for Genioo.
- Accountable for client development, opportunity management, and client delivery in assigned accounts.
- Create long lasting and trust-based relationships with C-level and senior client executives, modeling Genioo’s Client for Life mindset and approach.
- Coach and support the team to identify, win, and deliver consulting opportunities.
- Ensure overall quality delivery and success embedding Genioo QA processes.
Who You Are
- You have 15-25 years of professional experience, including 8+ years in consulting and previous experience selling consulting projects.
- You have strategy consulting experience in Life Science, Biotech or Pharma from a top 5 consulting company (such as McKinsey, Bain BCG, Accenture).
- You’ve held a line management / operational role at a Life Sciences company.
- You have operational experience delivering consulting in multiple functional areas including Commercial, TechOps, Procurement, R&D & Digital.
- You have a track record of client development, and managing a book of business.
- You are a natural leader with the ability to influence, delegate, hold others accountable, and collaborate with staff and colleagues at all levels.
- You are a strong self-starter and possess an excellent grasp of financial and other drivers of our business.
- You will add to our culture and values with a collaborative, caring spirit while you strive to exceed client expectations and bring joy to your clients and colleagues.
- You are eager to join a small company and have the entrepreneurial enthusiasm to build a cutting-edge business and change the way companies do project work.
- You are excited by category creation and have experience designing or delivering a new consulting model.
