INFORMATION REGARDING POSTION
- Intermountain Healthcare is recruiting an outstanding cardiologist to a research focused position.
- This position is 75% is protected research time.
- Cardiovascular investigator will be able to utilize electronic medical record system of Intermountain Healthcare, the robust Cardiovascular research team, and precision medicine related data. The investigator will participate in investigator initiated and industry sponsored trials.
- This position will collaborate with established electrophysiology, advanced imaging, structural heart, and heart failure programs for research endeavors.
- This position will collaborate and interface with investigators in various other subspecialties, such as critical care, maternal fetal medicine, pulmonary hypertension, and oncology.
- Close association with additional cutting edge advanced cardiac care for our patients including structural heart intervention, LVAD, and transplant within our network in Salt Lake City.
- Robust cardiothoracic surgery program.
- Full and consistently expanding advanced practice provider support.
- Leadership opportunities may be available.
REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Applicants should have at least five years of experience after completing their training.
- Experience in population health, preventive health or health economics is desirable, but not required
- Applicant should have a strong track record of research
- Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
- U.S. ACGME Residency
