This role will be of a hybrid nature (combining Cloud Infrastructure Architect and Engineer responsibilities from someone with hands-on experience in Azure and Oracle OCI, along with strategic architectural skills.). The focus of this role will be on infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes clusters, networking, storage, cloud automation)
What You'll Do
Design and deploy scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions
Create and maintain architectural blueprints for hybrid systems, ensuring alignment with evolving organizational needs
Collaborate with the CIO and IT teams to develop roadmap for cloud migrations and hybrid integrations, ensuring alignment with client workflows and standards of reliability
Build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell
Configure and maintain services, including virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, and storage solutions
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments, ensuring readiness for application workflows managed by the application team
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide advanced-level support, collaborating with the application team as needed
Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
Conduct regular reviews of infrastructure to ensure alignment with client goals and operational efficiency
Work closely with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure the successful execution of strategic goals
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and support evolving organizational needs as required
What You'll Need
Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures
Proven ability to manage hybrid cloud environments, including on-premises systems and public clouds
Strong hands-on experience with container orchestration, networking (e.g., VNet, load balancing), storage solutions, and automation tools
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools for cloud environments
Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
6+ years in cloud infrastructure roles, with a blend of architecture and engineering experience
