Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist Locums Job in Beautiful Southern California Details/Requirements: Need is for adult inpatient coverage for either PRN or forty hours a week starting ASAP and ongoing. Possibly some emergency treatment services and some psychiatric consultation liaison services (PCLS). Board Certification is required. Hours: 8AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday. No call. 65 bed adult unit. Average daily census is 11-14 patients. Average length of stay is 3-7 days. Patients on LPS-Conservatorship tend to have longer stays. Average daily caseload for the locum tenens Psychiatrist is 11-14 patients. An Internist does the medical physicals for H&Ps on all new admissions and will follow up on all the medical issues. Electronic medical record system in place, so you must be computer literate. Three month minimum assignments.
