Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years experience in public accounting. This includes the preparation of high-level tax returns with a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts and the ability to navigate complex financial situations. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with tax laws while providing exceptional service to our clients. The Tax Associate will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to deliver accurate and timely tax-related services.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Conduct thorough research on tax issues and provide guidance on tax strategies.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and records.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for tax filings.
Analyze financial data to identify potential tax savings opportunities.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact clients.
Utilize tax software to ensure efficient data management and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum three (3) years experience in public accounting or a similar role.
Strong understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, asset management, and private equity.
Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
