Position Summary:

The Adult Services Program Director is responsible for the overall operations of the Acute Adult Service Line, including psychiatric unit and chemical dependency unit. The Program Director works closely with the Nursing leadership and Unit Coordinators to ensure active programming and clinical services are provided in accordance with facility policy and best practice guidelines. The Program Director reports to the Chief of Clinical Services.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a clinical related mental health field.

License: Must possess a state license (LSW, LCSW, or LMHC).

Experience: Requires a minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills. Must have strong clinical assessment skills. Requires two (2) years of supervisory experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting.

Preferred Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, State and Federal regulatory requirements. May be required to work flexible hours.
