*Position*: Med/Surg Registered Nurse

*Location*: 509 N Brightleaf Blvd, Smithfield, NC 27577

*Shift*: Days 7am - 7pm, Rotating weekend schedule

*Pay*: Depends on experience, starting from $31.52/hr plus shift differential, benefits.

*Must Haves:*
* License: North Carolina RN or Compact
* Certifications: BLS
* Experience: 1 year acute hospital experience
* Education: Associates

*Responsibilities*
* The Registered Nurse will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, utilizing their expertise in acute care settings
* Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
* Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and evaluate patient responses to interventions.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
* Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain quality care standards.
* Continuously enhance nursing skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training opportunities.
