Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Louisville, KY

Your Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Regional Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting for four locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support our Plumbing/HVAC/Sewer/Electrical Businesses:
- Ownership of weekly payroll submissions and reconciliation
- Daily cash reconciliation and associated journal entries
- Balance sheet analysis as part of the monthly reporting package
- Prepare detailed budget variance analysis
- Analyze and research revenue accounting matters
- Provide accurate documentation of issues identified and resolutions reached
- Work with the Controller to improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and system management
- Collaborate with finance departments and operations to understand processes
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Accounting Department as needed
- Assist and coordinate with the department on month-end close, quarterly reporting, and regular training

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant pronouncements
Advanced analytical skills including proficiency in Excel and relevant technology
Team player with excellent communication skills

Working Conditions:

Professional, customer service-driven office environment
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Experience/Education:

Bachelor’s in Accounting required
5+ years of experience in an Accounting department with increased job responsibility
