Job Description

The Technical Solutions Jr. Analyst is an Information Technology (IT) resource that assists with the development of application integrations, provides technical analysis to solve complex business reporting requirements, creates and maintains reports, maintains software workflows, and assigns and provisions user access in various business applications.

Essential Functions

Work with the IT technical staff to understand the varied and complex business requirements.
Provide technical support and analysis to business solutions analysts as required within Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Assist in managing integration requests and creation of detailed specifications for development and implementation of application integrations.
Develop and maintain workflows.
Develop and maintain reports.
Analyze required access and provision users in various applications.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
Entry-level experience in programming and business process management, ranging from 0 to 3 years.
High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing, database software, and business systems (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
Well-developed communication skills.
Excellent project management skills including the ability to lead, facilitate, and organize.
Quick learner with proven analytical skills and ability to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, thinking outside the box and finding root cause solutions.
Adept at working on multiple tasks or projects at one time.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when working on proprietary tasks and software.
Conceptual understanding of relational databases (SQL, DB2).
Familiarity with BI tools.
