The Richland Hospital, Inc currently is seeking an innovative, high energy professional to lead our Finance Department. The Vice President / Chief Financial Officer is a “hands-on” Executive leader who provides on-site leadership for all financial functions supporting hospital operations, serving as a key financial advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the executive management team. The VP/CFO has responsibility over cash management, debt, insurance, audit, A/P, A/R, GL, development of capital and operating budgets, optimal operation of the revenue cycle function, reimbursement, development and interpretation of financial statements and reports, treasury functions, internal controls and maintenance of appropriate accounting practices and procedures. This position is responsible for the overall management of multiple departments within the organization including, but not limited to: General Accounting, Patient Finance, Patient Access, and Materials Management.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

Four-year degree from a baccalaureate program in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting required, MBA or Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of ten years leadership experience in healthcare finance environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of Critical Access Hospitals preferred.

The Vice President / Chief Finance Officer works cooperatively and collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team. Demonstrates a positive public image towards patients, visitors, and fellow employees through courteous, respectful and cooperative behavior. Effectively and consistently communicates to CEO and participates in interactive Executive Team Management Meetings and Direct Report meetings and discussions.
