DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

· Responsible for managing the accuracy of inventory transactions and balances. Assist physical inventory counts and cycle counts.

· Train others as needed for proper use of modules and processes associated with our ERP system and in accordance with GAAP rules and regulations.

· Assist Controller with Month End Processes as assigned

· Assist with financial and bank audits.

· Investigate variances, resolve issues, and trace costs back to underlying activities

· Having a clear understanding of all aspects of General Ledger Accounting & Cost Accounting

· Provide accurate and concise financial analysis and reports to help drive data-based management decisions

· Assist in evaluating and improving profitability and productivity.

· Audit ERP transactions for accuracy and compliance

· Update company metrics and KPI’s to clearly show trends, opportunities, and risks

· Assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Receipts as needed

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Excellent analytical and data entry skills.

· Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Teams).

· Intermediate or better in Excel.

· Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP)

· Reading and Technical Writing skills in English, sufficient to evaluate and communicate financial results and analysis.

· Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with management and other personnel.

· Responsible for safe operation of computer and office equipment.

· Responsible for maintaining a neat, organized work area.

· Works with all areas of company to understand and improve profitability and visibility of costs.

· Works with manufacturing and supply chain management to ensure inventory is accurately reflected in the ERP and to insure proper use of material resource planning.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

· 5 years accounting experience required.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

· Manufacturing Industry & Cost Accounting experience preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
