Job Description

Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), has an immediate need for a Training Analyst to support a new mobile training initiative to teach MSC’s shipboard network administrators the skills necessary to perform day-to-day duties. Primary responsibilities include:

Use various sources, such as help desk incidents, CASREPs, mariner interviews, and StratasCorp technical SME feedback, to identify mobile training target areas.
Assist with creation and implementation of a mobile training methodology to be used by trainers onboard MSC ships.
Reconcile mobile training target areas with existing classroom, virtual, and vendor-supplied training, assessing existing training for utility in a mobile training environment and identifying curriculum to be generated.
Review classroom and mobile training for effectiveness by creating and assessing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing feedback to instructors and curriculum developers.

Job Requirements

Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M, and be able to get appropriate Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire.
Must have 3 years or more of progressive experience as a technical trainer, training analyst, or data analyst.
Must travel to MSC ships, some of which are in shipyard environments and require PPE.
