Residential Resources, Inc (RRI)/WKS is seeking a creative, detail-oriented multitasker to join our Business Office team in the position of Accounting Specialist!

This position supports the RRI/WKS Business Office in the areas of accounts payable, general ledger, and other accounting functions for all six of our companies. We are a female-owned Human Services company that has been in existence for over 40 years. As part of the Business Office, you would have the opportunity to use your knowledge and skills to make a difference in the lives of over 500 individuals across three states. We believe that what we do matters, and we want someone that shares our vision as your driving principle for why we do what we do.

In this position you will:

Utilize integrated AP systems to process weekly and monthly payments to employees, individuals we support, and vendors.
Review invoices and payment requests to ensure they are coded correctly.
Follow up on any inquiries regarding payments.
Review monthly credit card reports.
Process 1099s at year end.
And other tasks as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Associate Degree in Accounting preferred, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Computer skills, including proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
Willingness to learn new technology.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and switch from one task to another as needed.
Ability to prioritize while maintaining flexibility.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours/Location

This is a full-time position working from either our Keene or Londonderry office.
