As an Auto Glass Shop Manager on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:

Managing the store to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and resolving customer escalations in a professional and timely manner
Reading, understanding and analyzing monthly financial statements and making improvements as needed
Proactively coaching and developing team members to ensure success in their respective roles and identifying opportunities for recognition and development
Purchasing inventory and products to sufficiently service customers to ensure efficiency while keeping in line with the budget
Ensuring all employees and team members strictly adhere to Portland Glass safety standards and conducting regular safety meetings/ regularly inspecting PPE
Overseeing that correct procedures are used to ensure safe installations, meeting the designated specifications for automotive glass installation

(Required qualifications)

Experience: 3 + years' prior experience in AUTO GLASS is REQUIRED! Retail/shop management experience is preferred.
Skills: Ability to multi-task, exhibit flexibility and commitment to teamwork, display a professional image, enthusiastically lead others, must have a valid Driver’s License, must have OSHA-10 certification or the ability to obtain one through Portland Glass, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication and customer service skills, and ability to demonstrate knowledge of automotive glass.
Education: High school diploma/GED is required; associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Physical requirements: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, sit, and climb stairs; must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Pay: Based on experience. Annual bonus of up to $9,500!
Schedule: Full-time, with some Saturday availability.
