ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform on-site heavy equipment operations which involves positioning and moving front loaders and excavators
Loading, extracting, and transporting materials including steel scrap
Use of hand and track torch to cut scrap into appropriate lengths
Observing relevant safety, accident prevention, and environmental regulations
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor, clean equipment
Maintain and protect all property
Maintain all required certifications required by OSHA and company safety programs
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations

REQUIRED SKILLS

Demonstrated experience in operating metal cutting systems, front loaders, excavators, skid loaders, etc.
Able to stand for 8 hour shift
Must be able to work in varying natural elements
Able to lift up to 40lbs
Experience with and knowledge of technical equipment and machinery
Results-orientated/Strong work ethic
Must work flexible hours and shift work
Well-developed interpersonal skills – ability to get along with diverse personalities
Must possess valid Driver’s License
