Job Description:

PACE Consulting, LLC (PACE) is a certified MBE/DBE woman-owned small business providing behavioral health clinical services and organizational consulting services. We offer clinical counseling, employee assistance counseling, organizational development consulting, staff augmentation services, workshops, training, and supervision.

General Summary:

Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate case management services for the School and Community Youth Services (SCYS) school-based mental health and social services program in Montgomery County, MD. Services are aimed at promoting self-sufficiency skills, family development, and linkage to mental health resources for un- and under-insured youth and families.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide support groups and case management services to students/parents/families with economic and/or social needs.
Document service plans in the County’s electronic records system and maintain regular contact with clients.
Maintain a caseload in compliance with contract terms and agency expectations.
Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events to develop partnerships between families and schools.
Work closely with service providers and develop a referral system to promote a continuum of care.
Conduct home visits and make referrals as necessary.
Participate in workshops and conferences as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (B.S.W.), Psychology, or related field. Experience serving families in need is preferred, with internship experience considered. Experience with immigrant populations and knowledge of community resources in Montgomery County is preferred. A valid state driver's license with 3 or fewer points is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not necessary.

Working Conditions:

This position is partially community-based with time allocated to an office setting.
Ability to travel to zip code 20837.
Ability to maintain moderate physical activity within the community.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to the Program Director.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $52,000.00 per year
