We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate/ Accountant to work closely with our internal team.

PRIMARY PURPOSE And FUNCTION

The primary responsibility of the Accounts Receivable Associate/ Accountant is to assist the KPS Finance Department with the processing of weekly and monthly financial duties including but not limited to the major duties and responsibilities listed below.

MAJOR DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES

The Accounts Receivable Associate/ Accountant will:

Direct involvement with KPS Customers. Managing their Accounts, Finalizing Invoices (Fixed, T&M, and Unit based) and sending out Invoices to Customers on a monthly basis.
Responsible for formatting monthly Timesheets and attaching Billable Expense Reports to the Monthly Invoices.
Responsible for providing Monthly or Quarterly Estimated Accruals, depending on Customers request.
Responsible for sending weekly Aging Report to the customers and following up on the Past Due invoices.
Daily monitoring of Accounts Receivable email inbox and any needed follow up.
Responsible for Maintaining Actuals vs Budget Reports for KPS customers.
Meeting Clinical Operations Managers and Directors for monthly/ Quarterly “Project Review Meeting” and discussing Actuals vs Budget for the ongoing Work Orders.
Responsible for Monthly Customers Utilization Reports and other special ad hoc report requested by KPS customer.
Responsible for checking New & Potential Clients Financials in D&B Database.
Accounts Receivable System maintenance in accounting software, adding new hires, terminations, adding project codes, and other tasks as needed.
Collaborate with Direct Manager in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement.
Provide Support in Auditing US & International expense reports (Billable and Non-Billable) for accuracy and in compliance to KPS & Sponsor(s) travel policies in Concur.
Provide Support in Managing and Monitoring Concur user profiles including maintaining changes, additions, deactivations, troubleshooting technical user errors, setup, and payment inquiries.
Maintaining New Hires A/R files.
Assist with Weekly processes, Month-end and Year-end closing as needed.
Assist ad-hoc projects within the team and other tasks as needed.

EDUCATION And KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

The Accounts Receivable Associate/ Accountant will have:

A degree in Accounting or similar experience.
Experience within the pharmaceutical industry: CRO or Sponsor preferred.
Proficiency with Excel and other MS products.
Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred.
Experience with Accounts Receivable in a service industry preferred.
Experience with SAP Concur for expense reporting preferred.
