Project Estimator Job Summary: Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team for Street, Road, Highway & Heavy Civil Construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various costs for construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Develop accurate & reliable estimates for earthwork projects.
Understand plans & specifications to determine project requirements.
Perform takeoffs and project modeling to create detailed proposals.
Utilize construction & estimating software.
Hold 1 Foreman’s meeting per week to review current Schedule, RFI’s, Change Orders, and Issues (Via Zoom or in person).
Communicate with Foreman daily to ensure they have all the information and answers to their questions.
Manage cost codes to ensure all tracking is up to date and accurate.
Keep project information up to date and current for the duration of all projects in Procore.
Manage and input all RFI’s, RFP’s, and Bulletins from start to finish.
Handle Procore items including Drawings, Job Set Up Specifications, Submittals, RFI’s & RFP, Documents.

Experience:

10 years in Construction (Required)
10 years in Highway & Street Construction (Required)

Requirements:

10+ years of estimating experience and/or street, road, highway construction experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Exceptional computer skills.
Proficient in ProCore, MS Suite.
Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
Ability to analyze problems and create solutions that add value to the client and the company.
