Maintain financial controls as it relates to the account distribution and receipt of Company funds.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for cash application and research of unapplied cash.
Processing customer credit memos and manual invoice requests.
Processing monthly write offs.
General Ledger account reconciliations as assigned.

Month-end closing responsibilities include:

Balance cash to the GL and bank statement.
Clearing domestic intercompany accounts receivable balances.
Produce required month end reports and assure that the AR Trial Balance agrees to the general ledger.
Assist department in special projects as required.
File and storage of A/R invoices and reports monthly and at year end.
Assist with year-end audit and internal audit by providing information on an as needed basis.
Process vendor requests performing due diligence documentation as required and providing backup as needed.
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Continually improve through employee development, process improvement and the elimination of waste.

Continually learn and become proficient in other areas of disciplines in the Accounting Department and other departments related to accounting.

Develop communication and organizational skills to effectively deal with internal and external customers.

Education and Training

High School/GED required.

Minimum Qualifications

Flexibility to cross train in other accounting functions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office PC Software (Excel, MS Word).

Physical Demands

Frequent sitting and working at computer for extended periods of time.

Environmental Conditions

Office setting.
Minimal exposure to R&D lab and manufacturing setting.

Excellent data entry, phone, and organizational skills.

Communicate in a professional manner with customers and other Hendrickson personnel to resolve problems.
