Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team. The Chief Accountant will be responsible for accounting and reporting, overseeing the company financials, cash management, relations to banks and financial institutions, reporting and relations to state and government, management of key contractual relations e.g. landlord, industrial park, etc. The position will be one of the three first hires in the factory and thus contribute to a critical phase of building up our first manufacturing branch.

Responsibilities and Duties

Financial Overview:
- Maintain a comprehensive overview of company financials.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports, on company level with board, etc as well as banks, financial and governmental institutions.
- Actively monitor and manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure financial stability and transparency.
Payroll Management:
- Handle payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Address payroll-related queries and issues from employees.
Accounting Tasks:
- Perform daily accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards and tax regulations.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company’s liquidity and financial stability.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable to maintain sustainable cash flow.
- Develop strategies for efficient working capital management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to guide financial planning and decision-making.
Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate and support external audits and internal reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for auditing purposes.
Support During Construction Phase:
- Provide financial support and overview during the final part of the facility construction phase.
- Assist in managing construction-related expenses and budget tracking.
Administrative Support:
- Support administrative tasks related to accounting and finance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Contract management:
- Management of main contractual relationships such as land and building owner, industrial park services, etc.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of Vietnamese accounting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
