Job Description:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable management, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company while working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoices.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations.
Assist with month-end close activities and provide support for audits.
Handle vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.

Ideal Profile:

Minimum of 2 years experience in accounts payable or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Based in Wilmington / Hybrid
