Cura Support Services are looking for enthusiastic, empathetic, engaging Nurses to work 12 hour day or night shifts in Ludlow.

We work closely with our nursing home and care homes to ensure all of their shifts are always fully staffed and we listen closely to their needs to ensure we only match the most suitable carers to their shifts.

You will be caring for vulnerable adults living with conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, Mental Health Conditions, Challenging Behaviours, Epilepsy, as well as individuals with Learning and/or Physical Disabilities such as loss of mobility, speech/sight impairments, Autism or Down's Syndrome. There are also care categories including end of life care & cancer care.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be expected to perform the following daily duties:

Preparing & administering medication promptly
Organising & running a shift efficiently
Responding to accidents, incidents and emergencies
Delivering personal care to male and female residents
Using Manual Handling equipment safely
Assisting in food & drink preparation and feeding residents their meals
Completing all necessary documentation on shift
Physically supporting residents around the home and gardens
Providing emotional support
General housekeeping responsibilities
Promoting independence where possible
Other duties as needed

We ask that all of our Agency Nurses possess the following:

Valid UK NMC PIN
A minimum of 3 months UK Nurse experience
Valid Right To Work in the UK
Good level of verbal, listening & writing skills
Reliable, punctual & diligent work ethic
