Join a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have over 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking a Full-Time General Manager in Central Connecticut.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide continual leadership and guidance to the management team, ensuring compliance with lab structure, culture, and federal and state laws.
Oversee all administration, production, communication, and sales activities of the lab, including planning, budgeting, cost control, safety compliance, marketing, customer interaction, hiring, and reviews.
Monthly review of financial statements and budgeting to gauge the success of the organization and make necessary operational adjustments.

Strong relationship-building and sales skills, with the ability to train others in customer contact.
Logical, analytical, and creative thinker with the ability to make timely decisions.
Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing.
Understand and contribute to marketing strategies and sales growth processes.
Ability to develop systems for product sales and cross-selling, as well as improve production efficiency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel.
Dependable, reliable, and willing to take on needed duties to fulfill operational goals.
Openly communicate concerns, questions, and ideas for growth.
Actively participate in the performance appraisal process.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Five years of experience managing or supervising production/manufacturing team members.
Minimum ten years of experience in operational management; B.S., B.A., or MBA preferred.
Five years of previous continuous improvement experience.
Prefer three years of experience in the dental lab industry and/or medical device industry.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
Exhibit fine motor skills and perform repetitive motions.
Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
Communicate technical information effectively.
Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and color recognition.
