Description

This position will support the Financial Services Department in providing professional accounting and financial-related advisory services to municipal utilities and electric cooperatives. Skills include:

Updating, reviewing, and building Excel models.
Calculating utility bills for rate studies.
Assisting in preparation of financial planning and forecasting.
Preparing technical, financial, and rate-related reports.
Calculating comparisons of alternate rate options.
Preparing presentations.

This position reports to the Vice President of Financial Services.

Requirements:

Must be organized and detail oriented.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to manage time across multiple projects.
Must be able to retrieve and manipulate utility data used for billing and forecasting.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or mathematics.
Must be proficient in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and other MS Office applications.
Utility experience a plus.
